She looks at the sky lying on the soft carpet, hugging her favorite puppet, immersed in a dreamlike reality, heart and mind traveling carefree projecting a rosy future.

Balancing on a chasm, two hands clasped tightly are on the verge of parting.

"I want to be happy, feel safe in his arms, and have the happy ending everyone deserves."

Wait.

And her happiness didn't become a priority, her mind flew away to a faraway place. She had forgotten what it meant to be safe, she was afraid of herself.

"I want to smile at the world and toast myself, not have to hide and follow my destiny."

Wait.

She ended up taking refuge in the memory of her childhood, oppressing that painful present. That colorful puppet was the only thing to cling to, in her now extinguished life.
